EOD’s ‘Wall of Fire’ Impresses Crowd at NAF El Centro Air Show

EL CENTRO, Calif. – Sailors assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 11 (EODMU 11) detachments from Fallon, Nev., and San Diego joined together March 12 to construct a pyrotechnics display for the crowd during the 2011 Naval Air Facility (NAF) El Centro Air Show in El Centro, Calif.

Pacific Partnership Departs Vanuatu

ESPIRITU SANTO, Vanuatu (NNS) -- The Pacific Partnership 2011 team departed Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu, aboard amphibious transport dock ship USS Cleveland (LPD 7) May 9, after 10 days of working side-by-side with the people of Vanuatu, marking the first time a U.S. Navy vessel has traveled to Vanuatu since World War II.
