A crowd of nearly 30,000 aviation enthusiasts gathered under the clear blue Southern California sky for the NAF El Centro Air Show on March 14. Numerous military and civilian aircraft, old and new, were on display.
The excited audience watched several military aircraft demonstrations and civilian aviation performances after the U.S. Navy Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Team kicked off the event with one of their breathtaking aerial performances.
Other aircraft on display or performing included a B-1B flyover, an F/A-18 Super Hornet demonstration, a simulated Search & Rescue by a UH-1 “Huey” helicopter and a C-17 cargo demo.
