The Rancho Santa Fe Women’s Fund, a donor advised fund at the Rancho Santa Fe Foundation, donated $30,000 to support the San Diego Armed Services YMCA’s Free Confidential In-Home Counseling services for enlisted military families.
The ASYMCASD provides counseling for a variety of issues from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, Deployment issues, Parenting Education, and Family Emergency Supplies. Armed Services YMCA spokeswomen Brittany Catton states “We are so grateful to the Rancho Santa Fe Women’s fund for recognizing and supporting the mental health needs of our military personnel and their families during this critical time. These funds will really make an impact, as ASYMCASD social workers make over 100 confidential in-home visits each month.”

The San Diego Armed Services YMC was founded in 1920 and serves 6,000 San Diego junior-enlisted military service members and their families EACH MONTH with an assortment of absolutely free programs, including confidential counseling and other social services to help them Stress Less and Connect More.
